Pelvic floor weakness, stress incontinence is a problem that affects many women. 1 woman in 3 to be exact, thats a lot of women. Pelvic floor weaknes is caused by many factors, the main being childbirth. The more children you push through your pelvic floor, the weaker it will become. Weak pelvic floor, is probably the most common, embarrasing condition for women. Doctors see it as a hazard of childbirth, a non life threatening womens problem. It can be improved in most cases. It is caused by a weakening of the PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE. Pelvic floor exercises are recomended, but these are difficult to do correctly. The should pull up the pelvic floor, but many women pull up their stomach or buttocks. If you can do them correctly, they are very tiring & most women dont do them for long enough to have effect. Weighted cones can be used, but these are difficult to keep in place and are also tiring. Pelvic exercisers are a good system to try. Using electrical therapy, they exercise the pelvic floor muscle for you. You will only exercise the right muscle, easy to use and keep on using. Usually used once a day for 2 to 3 weeks, many women see an improvement. After this, it may be used once or twice a week until you are happy with the improvement.
